Ok, so between the chemo and the shot yesterday, Mom feels like lying on the couch all day not doing anything at all. This was expected but is still hard. She doesn't feel like eating much but She is getting some food down so don't worry about that. Thank you all for your continued support and thoughts, it is days like today that they are needed the most.

You young men first:

Kyle or JT: Thanks for the post. It is reassuring for us to know your mama is so well taken care of. I know you cannot imagine it, but there ARE some sons (and daughters) who would not bear up under this burden anywhere near as well as you have. All Yawl (ha ha, Margaret) are mature beyond your years. You are both building up a huge reservoir of respect and I am proud to know both of you.

Now, put your mama on.

Margaret: I know the Boost was awful but nourishment is wherever you find it. It could be a whole roasted pig with all those trimmings, you know....

Give them chilrens a hug or shake their hands or do whatever it is you do to make them feel special. Oh! I know, tell one of them he is your favorite and tell the other you like him a lot. They deserve it.

The book says so. Ask Enola.

Margaret... I hope you are able to rest and know that all of our arms are around you supporting you through the toughest times. I can only imagine that skippy (lowercase on purpose) is cussing us all. He is no match for you or for us. Hang in there... we've got your back! Ann.

Hi Margaret - I'm glad to hear that you're resting and it's clear you're in good hands. I can tell your sons are just as proud of you as you are of them - you're quite a team!

Love, Jo

PS: Thank you for the up-date Kyle and/or JT - you're doing a great job.

I decided to put a blog together for 2 reasons. I have cancer and am undergoing treatments. I wanted a record of events, and I also knew I wouldn't be able to update everyone constantly. You know how it goes: the first person who calls gets very good information. The 10th person gets, "I'm fine, kinda tired. Can we talk later?", which I thought wasn't fair. The response has been awesome; I never expected this kind of success. Thanks, Blogger! And thanks to all who read, respond, and care.
