Friday Night

This is a short entry tonight, folks. I'm a bit tired, and honestly, there's no news. I worked 4 days this week (half days), and was just happy as a clam to snooze on the couch for an hour or so each afternoon. I've been eating a little, and resting a little, and trying to get back to whatever "normal" is. We'll see how that goes.

Thanks for being here for me. I have plenty to eat, LOTS of cards from people who are thinking of me, LOTS of emails, and LOTS of kind people who call me just to check in. I could not fight this dragon without you all here with me; your support is what keeps me strong and moving forward.

Hi Margaret -

Once again I was going with "no news is good news" and it seems that was the case.

I hope as I'm typing this you are sleeping and having a great dream about _____________!!!!!

Now let everyone reading your blog try to guess who it is --- I'll never tell!

Thanks for the up-date, you know even when there's no news we all love hearing from you.

Keep resting,
Love, Jo

Now that i have had a chance to watch horsies run around in a big grassy field with dirt around the outside of it for 7 hours, i feel i can say something in defense of Dragons.

Part of your medicine is derived from Dragon scales. While some folks see Dragons as fearsome creatures they are not. They are, in fact, benevolent creatures seeking only to help us when our battles in life get to the point where nothing else will help. Of course, if you are skippy, there is nothing more fearsome than the presence of a Dragon. Even young Dragons have tremendous power against this vile creature.

i would not be at all surprised to find a Dragon living behind your woodpile; the next time i check in on you i will show her to you...

All that said, i am happy you are feeling so well. It is a good sign you have done so well this round. So far you are two up on the beast.

We are happy to hear you are feeling better. Your positive attitude is very inspiring and we wish you the best! You are in our prayers and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Take care,
The Lopez Family

I decided to put a blog together for 2 reasons. I have cancer and am undergoing treatments. I wanted a record of events, and I also knew I wouldn't be able to update everyone constantly. You know how it goes: the first person who calls gets very good information. The 10th person gets, "I'm fine, kinda tired. Can we talk later?", which I thought wasn't fair. The response has been awesome; I never expected this kind of success. Thanks, Blogger! And thanks to all who read, respond, and care.
